La Herradura is a horseshoe shaped bay (herradura= horseshoe) with a long stretch of beach (2 km.s) sheltered by magnificent mountain ranges which allow us to enjoy a sub-tropical climate. The village offers a variety of shops and restaurants offering traditional and European products. The area still maintains it´s authenticity and although the number of foreigners choosing to live here permanently is growing, the resulting multicultural exchange creates a very unique and appealing "ambiente".
